Recently, Philosophy and Social Science Association of Yunnan Province has informed that our team of “A Study on Minority Aesthetics and Aesthetic Education” was selected to be the Innovation Team of Philosophy and Social Science, which was led by our president Professor Jiang Yongwen, recommended by the university, reviewed by the peer experts, through on-sit oral defense and online publicity.
It is said that the Innovation Team of Philosophy and Social Science in Yunnan Province is an important project organized and implemented by Philosophy and Social Science Association, with its aim to improve the innovation ability and competitiveness of the philosophy and social science team, to promote the constructions of high level research institutes and predominant and characteristic disciplines. In 2016, there are 5 innovation teams in Yunnan, with the construction aid fund of 100,000 yuan for each and one-year construction period.
Led by our president Jiang Yongwen, the approval and construction of our team of “A Study on Minority Aesthetics and Aesthetic Education” will play a significant role in promoting the aesthetics and aesthetic education study and boosting the research on the characteristic and predominant disciplines of frontier minorities. At present, we have 7 Innovation Teams of Yunnan Philosophy and Social Science, and rank second only to Yunnan University in Yunnan.
